About the Author William David Moffatt received his degree
in Criminology from FSU in 1971 and his J.D from NOVA Law School in 1977. After working several years as an investigator and then assistant state attorney with the Broward County State Attorney's Office, he opened his
private practice in Ft. Lauderdale, where he successfully handled thousands of criminal and traffic cases.
